Zaib & Sarosh talk about the recent religious movie released called "The Lady of Heaven" depicting the life, especially the final days, of Fatima (AS) daughter of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW).
The film focuses on the controversial turn of events leading up to Fatima's (AS) untimely departure (e.g., event of the door) and sheds a "negative" light on a prominent Muslim personality, companion, 2nd Caliph, Umar bin Khattab.
That, obviously, led to protest and calls for the banning of the movie, partly because of the notorious backer/financier of the movie, a man despised by all sides alike called Yasser Habib.
The guys talk in detail about why certain people feel hesitant in wearing their beliefs on their shoulders (especially Shias) and whether people with opposing worldviews have a right to present their narratives.
Note: Viewpoints presented in this episode are worldviews owned by millions of people across the world but don't get to talk about it due to threats to life etc. Therefore, objecting to them is a universal right but to shut them down isn't. Hope people listening in can understand the difference between the two.
